We restore neglected properties and maintain community spaces to create safer, cleaner, and more welcoming neighborhoods.
Developing Housing
We develop affordable, sustainable housing that helps families achieve stability while rebuilding strong, connected communities.
Creating Jobs
We create local employment opportunities through construction, maintenance, and development that strengthen the local economy.
Our Active Programs
City of Lights installs LED string lights in front yards at no cost to homeowners to help create safer, more connected neighborhoods.
Reduce Crime: Increased outdoor lighting improves visibility, enhances safety, and helps deter criminal activity.
Build Community: A shared neighborhood light display creates a sense of identity, pride, and momentum for community-driven change.
Create Economic Opportunity: The program provides local job opportunities through the installation and maintenance of the lighting.
Lawn Care
Our Lawn Care Program provides regular mowing and maintenance for residential yards and vacant lots to help keep neighborhoods clean and safe.
Beautify the Neighborhood: Maintaining lawns and lots transforms neglected spaces into welcoming environments that promote pride and community ownership.
Assist the Community: We support residents who lack the time, resources, or physical ability to maintain their properties.
Create Economic Opportunity: The program creates local jobs and will continue expanding employment opportunities.
Brick by Brick creates accessible pathways to homeownership for individuals and families within our community.

Rooted in the Hoffman Triangle
To truly understand the Hoffman Triangle, we partnered with leading researchers from the University of New Orleans to take a data-driven, neighborhood-first approach. Working alongside professors and graduate students in advanced geographic and urban studies, this comprehensive research provides a clear picture of the area’s strengths, challenges, and opportunities—equipping residents, nonprofits, and city leaders with the insight needed to better support and invest in this vital New Orleans community.
